Bluffdale, UT (July 08, 2022) – A section of Redwood Road that runs through Bluffdale was closed following a serious two-vehicle collision that left four people, including an infant, with injuries.

Police reports state that eyewitnesses said one of the involved vehicles ran a red light at the intersection of 14600 South and Redwood Road.

Three people from one of the vehicles were injured: a man, who was transported by medical helicopter in critical condition, a woman, who was taken to an area hospital also in critical condition, along with an infant in non-critical condition.

One man from the second vehicle sustained non-critical injuries.

It is unclear which vehicle ran the red light.

The northbound lanes of Redwood Road were shut down for several hours as the major accident team investigated.
