South Salt Lake, UT – I-80 At State St Closed Due To Injury Crash

South Salt Lake, UT (June 19, 2022) – On Sunday, June 19th, a crash caused injuries to at least one person and shut down two lanes of traffic in South Salt Lake. 

Reports show that the collision took place at about 4:25 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near the State Street exit. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still under police investigation. 

Utah Highway Patrol units and paramedics both responded to the area. At least one person was taken by ambulance to a regional trauma center with unspecified injuries.
