Woods Cross, UT (October 05, 2022) – A collision involving four vehicles left some of the vehicle occupants with injuries in Woods Cross on Wednesday, October 5th.
The incident occurred at about 8:35 a.m. on the southbound side of Legacy Parkway in the area of 2600 South when three passenger vehicles and a truck were involved in a crash. The impact forced the truck and one of the passenger vehicles to overturn, each coming to an uncontrolled stop on opposite sides of the roadway.
Police and paramedics were requested to the scene where they provided medical aid and transportation to the injured victims and worked to determine the cause of the crash.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
A rollover accident is one where the vehicle flips onto its side or roof. Rollover crashes often happen when a driver overcorrects after swerving to avoid an object in the roadway or makes a sudden, unexpected stop. Rollover accidents can also stem from an issue with the vehicle’s tires.
If you were injured in a rollover crash, the law entitles you to financial compensation for your injuries. This is true even if the driver is a good friend, coworker, or member of your household.
The catastrophic nature of rollover injuries often leaves victims with enormous medical bills, a long period of recovery during which they cannot work, and, in extreme cases, permanent disabilities that could demand a lifetime of care.
Rollover accidents often leave their victims with serious injuries, including:
- Traumatic brain injury
- Spinal cord injuries
- Neck or back injuries
- Broken bones
