Wrongful deaths are deaths arising from the malicious or negligent actions of another person. In Utah, they are an all-too-ordinary outcome of motor vehicle collisions.

In 2016, in the state of Utah, almost 300 people were killed in traffic accidents. Every year, hundreds of lives are cut short due to some type of avoidable incident, such as one caused by a negligent or reckless driver. When a person dies under these circumstances, members of their immediate family may be eligible to pursue financial recovery via a civil case with the aid of a Utah wrongful death lawyer.
