Grand County, UT (March 3, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a truck accident on Wednesday evening in Grand County. At around 10 p.m., on March 2, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Utah State Highway 191.
Reports from the Utah Highway Patrol show that a head-on collision between a semi-truck and a Jeep Wrangler occurred on Utah State Highway 191 near mile marker 15.
The driver of the Jeep, a 66-year-old man, sustained severe injuries in the crash.
Authorities rushed to the scene to render aid to the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased on-site.
A 38-year-old female passenger in the Jeep was rushed to a nearby hospital for care. Medics rendered aid to the driver of the truck on-site.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
