Wendover, UT (April 05, 2022) – The driver of a disabled vehicle that was stopped alongside Interstate 80 on Monday, April 4th was killed after being hit by a tractor-trailer.
At about 8:45 p.m., troopers were responding to a report of a disabled vehicle near Wendover. Moments later, they received a call about an overturned tractor-trailer in the same area.
Upon their arrival, troopers learned that the tractor-trailer had struck the passenger vehicle and then overturned.
The driver of the stalled vehicle was located outside of his car and pronounced dead on the scene.
The condition of the truck operator is unknown.
