Garland, UT (September 20, 2021) – Two people are recovering in the hospital since their vehicle overturned on Saturday, September 18th in Box Elder County.
Reports show that at about 6:15 p.m., local police received numerous phone calls notifying them of a rolled-over vehicle in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 near milepost 382.
Sources stated that one person was thrown from the vehicle. A second person was found trapped inside the vehicle, unresponsive.
Garland Fire was able to extricate the trapped individual.
Both victims were transported by paramedics to a local trauma center, one in serious condition and the other in critical condition.
Additional details regarding the crash have not yet been made available.
This accident is under investigation by the Utah Highway Patrol.
