Cedar City, UT (September 29, 2021) – One woman was killed and several more were injured in a serious car accident in Cedar City on Tuesday, September 28th.
The collision occurred at about 10:05 a.m. at the intersection of Iron Springs Road and Highway 56.
Upon their arrival, officers from the Cedar City Police Department learned that a cement truck had collided with a white Ford Explorer.
The adult female driver of the Explorer died on the scene. The remaining four passengers in the vehicle, two male and two female juveniles all sustained critical injuries.
The driver of the cement truck was unharmed during the incident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. The identity of the deceased is pending family notification.
