Cedar City, UT (March 09, 2021) – A driver was hospitalized on Sunday, March 7th after a two-car accident at the intersection of State Route 56 and Iron Springs Road.
The crash, which was between a Toyota 4Runner SUV and an Infiniti sports car, took place at about 7:30 p.m. Traffic was down to a single lane for roughly an hour while the site was cleared.
An official from the Cedar City Police Department stated that the driver of the Infiniti was in the process of making a lefthand turn off of Iron Springs Road onto the eastbound lanes of SR-56 when his car was hit by the westbound Toyota.
The driver of the Infiniti, an adult male, was transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to Cedar City Hospital.
