Weber Co, UT (June 02, 2021) – A motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to Ogden Regional Medical Center following a crash on Pineview Spillway on Wednesday, June 2nd in Weber County.
A source from inside the Utah Highway Patrol reported that at about 10:00 p.m., the male motorcycle rider sustained non-critical injuries during the collision, the cause of which is still under heavy investigation.
Initially, the rider claimed that his accident involved a woman who had been riding with him but troopers located no matching person in the area. The woman was later located and the circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation.
Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Personal injury is a common outcome of motorcycle accidents, as victims often require emergency medical treatments or even extended hospitalization. As a result, injured riders may be forced to take time away from work and endure a significant loss of income during their convalescence.
A personal injury attorney who has experience handling motorcycle accidents will be able to minimize its negative impact on your life.
Catastrophic injuries, such as a traumatic brain injury or even wrongful death can be caused by a serious motorcycle accident, particularly when a collision with another vehicle is involved. This is because motorcycles do not provide any of the safety features that occupants of a passenger vehicle often take for granted, such as seat belts, a roll cage, and airbags, leaving riders susceptible to enduring severe internal injuries, as well as injuries to their spinal cord and brain.
These life-altering injuries can cost several thousand dollars in medical expenses that cause the rider and their family to suffer an economic hardship from which they may never recover.
When injuries happen in a collision caused by another motorist’s negligence, victims need to seek legal counsel from an accident attorney in Salt Lake City. Whenever somebody is hurt and another person is the cause, they are qualified to obtain compensation for their losses.
