Salt Lake City, UT (June 20, 2021) – The woman who was killed during a motorcycle accident on Interstate 15 on Wednesday, June 16th has been identified.
Jordan Stern, 30, a resident of Salt Lake City, was a passenger on an ill-fated motorcycle. Eyewitnesses stated that the motorcycle appeared to experience a mechanical issue prior to tossing both riders onto the interstate near 9400 South in Sandy.
After she was thrown into the roadway, Stern was then run over by two tractor-trailers. The driver was able to drag himself to the side of the road with injuries that were serious, but survivable.
The drivers of the tractor-trailers provided dashboard camera footage to assist in the investigation and were cooperative with the investigators.
