Draper, UT (April 07, 2021) – One man was taken to the University of Utah Trauma Center via medical helicopter following an industrial accident on Wednesday, April 7th.
According to officials, crews responded at about 4:00 p.m. to reports that someone had sustained injuries during an industrial accident.
Emergency responders arrived on the scene at 13800 South and 38 West to find that the victim had been working on 6-foot high scaffolding placing a beam when, for reasons that have yet to be determined, he fell. The scaffolding also fell over and both it and the beam he had been working with landed on the already-injured man.
The man was airlifted to a trauma center with a head injury.
His name and current condition have not been released.
