Lehi, UT (May 23, 2021) – A two-car crash took place on Sunday, May 23rd in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 at milepost 282 that shut down the three righthand lanes for more than an hour.

A Utah Highway Patrol Trooper stated that the accident took place at about 8:30 p.m. The cause of the crash has not been determined but officials suspect it may be weather-related.

One woman was transported via ambulance to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Car crashes play out on Utah’s city and rural roadways each day. In 2018, more than 62,000 vehicle accidents happened across the state. Out of all car crashes reported in that one year, more than 230 of them ended with at least one death and cost the lives of more than 260 victims. An additional 25,600 people were left to deal with the consequences of a severe accident-related injury.

When injuries happen in a collision that was caused by the negligence of another motorist, victims need to seek legal counsel from an accident attorney in Salt Lake City. Whenever somebody is hurt and another person is the cause, they are qualified to obtain compensation for their losses.
