Cedar City, UT (September 01, 2021) – A tractor-trailer carrying pipes overturned on Tuesday, August 31st losing its payload and critically injuring another driver.
At about 1:55 p.m., the tractor-trailer was driving westbound on State Route 56, away from Cedar City, when it overturned while taking a corner too quickly.
The large pipes on the tractor-trailer broke free during the accident and struck two other vehicles. The driver of one of the cars was critically injured. She was med flighted to an area hospital.
The driver of a second vehicle also sustained non-critical injuries. They were transported from the scene by ambulance.
