South Jordan, UT – Woman Hospitalized, Two Others Hurt In S Redwood Rd Three-Car Wreck

South Jordan, UT (December 2, 2021) – A woman is in serious condition following an accident that occurred in South Jordan on Wednesday afternoon, December 1.

South Jordan Police Department Sgt. Eric Anderson said that an investigation into the incident by the Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team is ongoing and active. However, he disclosed that three cars were involved, with one of the drivers allegedly running a red light. The incident occurred at 9800 South Redwood Road just after 1:00 p.m.

All three drivers were taken to area medical centers. Two suffered minor injuries, and the woman who sustained major injuries was transported to Intermountain Medical Center. Police said her injuries included several fractures and other trauma.

This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement.
