Murray, UT – Crash Involving Several Vehicles On I-15 At 4500 South Prompts Injuries, Police Investigation

Murray, UT (September 24, 2022) – A crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate 15 on Saturday, September 24th closed down two righthand lanes of traffic as police and EMTs responded to the scene. 

According to the Utah Department of Transportation, the incident took place near the exit ramp for 4500 South in Murray at about 10:30 a.m.  

The Utah Highway Patrol stated that at least four vehicles were involved. EMTs responded to the scene and aided multiple patients with non-critical injuries. 

The cause of the crash has not been determined but preliminary reports state the involved vehicles may have hydroplaned.
