Salt Lake City, UT (June 07, 2022) – The man who died in a fatal hit-and-run collision on Redwood Road on Friday, June 3rd has been identified by police.
According to officials, 28-year-old was killed when, as reported by eyewitnesses, a Ford F-150 pick-up truck crashed into another vehicle, disabling both.
The incident took place at about 10:00 p.m. at the intersection of Redwood Road and California Avenue in Salt Lake City.
Police said emergency responders attempted to extricate Portillo to render medical aid, but he died at the scene due to his injuries.
