St. George, UT – Two Injured During U-Turn Into Oncoming Traffic On N. Bluff St

St. George, UT (July 30, 2022) – Two women were injured after a vehicle made a U-turn into oncoming traffic on Saturday, July 30th. 

At about 1:40 p.m., emergency responders were called to the 700th block of North Bluff Street in St. George for reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles. Upon their arrival, officers located a Scion XB and a Subaru Outback with heavy damage.

According to reports, the Scion made a U-Turn from the continuous lefthand turn lane and failed to yield to the northbound Subaru, resulting in a rear-end accident. 

One adult female in the Subaru and the driver of the Scion sustained non-critical injuries. They were taken to St. George Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition. The child in the Scion was unharmed during the impact.
