Salt Lake City, UT (August 03, 2022) – A motorcyclist was badly injured during a collision with a suspected drunk driver in Salt Lake City on Tuesday, August 2nd. 

According to sources, the incident took place at about 9:15 p.m. in the 1400th block of South Main Street. 

That accident involved a car and a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, a 50-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital in critical condition. 

An investigation determined that the rider was passing the car when the driver decided to change lanes. 

The 23-year-old driver of the car showed signs of impairment but has cooperated with the investigation so far.
