Mountain Green, UT (August 16, 2022) – A motorcyclist died on Tuesday, August 16th after an accident on state Route 167 caused him to fall down a steep embankment. 

The crash took place at about 11:30 p.m. on Trappers Loop, just outside of Mountain Green.  

The Utah Department of Public Safety reported that the 71-year-old man was struck going around a bend in the road. The Harley Davidson struck a rail, and the man was ejected from the bike and fell roughly 150 feet. 

More than 1,100 motorcycle accidents have taken place in Utah so far in 2022. This accident marks the year’s 42nd motorcycle-related fatality.
