Cedar City, UT (August 28, 2022) – On Saturday, August 27th, a Hyundai sedan with a teenage driver and two teenage passengers, veered off the righthand side of Interstate 15 and collided with a fence.
The accident took place at about 1:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the interstate close to milepost 53.
According to an officer from the Utah Highway Patrol, the car hydroplaned on the rain-soaked roadway which caused the young driver to lose control.
All three of the Hyundai’s occupants sustained non-critical injuries. They were transported by Gold Cross Ambulance to an area hospital.
