Washington City, UT (October 21, 2022) – Utah Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a collision involving three vehicles on Interstate 15 in Washington City Friday, October 21st.
The crash took place at about 5:40 p.m. in the area of milepost 9.5 when three northbound vehicles collided in the far right lane.
in the front, a female passenger was in a red Nissan Murano; in the middle, a man occupied a white Chevrolet Sonic; and at the back, a woman was driving a silver Chevrolet Outlander, Hintze said.
The driver of a Chevrolet Outlander was unable to stop in time when traffic came to a stop and crashed into the back of a Chevrolet Sonic, pushing the Sonic into the back of a Nissan Murano. All three cars were disabled.
The St. George Fire crews and three Gold Cross ambulances were dispatched to the scene. All three drivers were taken to St. George Regional Hospital for treatment of various non-critical injuries.
