Utah Co, UT (May 04, 2021) – The Utah Highway Patrol has finally identified the fatal victim of a crash that took place on the identity of a man killed in a crash on Sunday, April 25th on U.S. Route 6 in Utah County as 32-year-old Antonio Valdiviezo, a resident of Hobbs, NM.
The accident took place at about 8:55 p.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado heading eastbound crossed the dividing line and drove into oncoming traffic where it collided head-on with a Chevrolet Cruze.
The crash left both vehicles with extensive damage and left the Cruze’s passenger with fatal injuries.
The driver of the Cruze and a passenger in the Silverado were both hospitalized with non-critical injuries.
The driver of the Silverado sustained very minor injuries.
Traffic in the area was stopped for five hours after the accident.
