Tooele, UT (October 13, 2022) – Police responded to the scene of an accident that resulted in the death of one driver and the serious injury of two other people on Tuesday, October 11th in Tooele. 

According to an eyewitness who was sitting on his porch with a friend at the time of the crash, a car went speeding down Main Street at about 80 or 90 miles per hour with no headlights on. Moments later, the driver veered into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle. 

The driver of the first car, a 35-year-old male, died at the scene. 

The occupants of the other vehicle, a 20-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl, were both transported from the scene in serious condition. 

Police are looking into alcohol as a factor in the incident.
