Summit Co, UT (October 22, 2022) – Two people were injured during a five-vehicle collision that included a dump truck transporting hot asphalt and an ATV just outside of Kimball Junction on Friday, October 21st.
At about 8:10 a.m., crews responded to reports of an injury crash on Interstate 80 near Kimball Junction.
The multi-vehicle accident caused the dump truck to plow through a cable barrier. It also resulted in a Glycol spill that required the attention of a HAZMAT crew.
Two people were taken by ambulance to a local hospital in non-critical condition.
