Wrongful deaths are deaths that are caused by the wrongful act, maliciousness, or neglect of someone else. Unfortunately, wrongful deaths are an all-too-common consequence of motor vehicle accidents.
In 2016, in Utah, more than 270 people were killed in fatal auto crashes alone. Hundreds of lives are cut short every year from some sort of preventable incident, like one resulting from an inattentive driver or defective drug. When a person dies under these circumstances, their immediate family members could be eligible to hire a Utah wrongful death attorney to obtain financial recovery through a civil case.
