Pedestrian Accidents in Utah

Without the security of a metal cage, or, in actuality, any safety features at all, to protect them from the impending impact, pedestrian injuries are often accompanied by serious emotional, financial, and physical repercussions.

When considering Utah’s exorbitant rise in its distracted driving population, many drivers either fail to give any credence to their ability to prevent pedestrian accidents or fail to notice them entirely.

In their hurry to get to school, work, the grocery store, baseball practice, or barely squeak their way through a yellow traffic light, drivers regularly speed through crosswalks, putting Utah’s most vulnerable residents, pedestrians, in serious danger. Pedestrians that are struck by vehicles typically receive numerous injuries that have catastrophic, and even fatal results.

In the state of Utah, there are many local and state regulations that regulate when and how pedestrians are able to use the roadways. These regulations are formulated with the safety of those on foot in mind.

When you are represented by a reputable pedestrian injury lawyer from Jardine Law Offices following your accident, your odds of receiving full economic recovery are considerably greater than those of someone attempting to represent themselves.

If you were hurt or lost someone you love due to someone’s reckless driving, contact our personal injury lawyers in Utah at 801-350-3506 to schedule a free case assessment.
