Even though all kinds of accidents can happen in an intersection, by far the most extreme is a broadside collision. Often referred to as being T-boned, these dangerous accidents take place when the front end of one car crashes into the side of another. T-bone and other side-impact accidents caused the deaths of 1,770 vehicle occupants in 2017.
In that same year, Utah’s 58 fatal intersection accidents constituted 21.2% of its car accident-related deaths, denoting a 6.5% reduction when compared to 2016.
When injuries happen in a collision caused by another motorist’s negligence, victims need to seek legal counsel from a side-impact accident attorney in Salt Lake City. Whenever somebody is hurt and another person is the cause, they are qualified to obtain compensation for their losses.
