Salt Lake City, UT (September 10, 2021) – Troopers said that a victim died in a rollover crash that occurred on Friday afternoon, September 10, in North Salt Lake City.
According to Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) troopers, the crash happened near Interstate 215 and Redwood in North Salt Lake City, just outside of the Bountiful area.
The accident affected traffic in that area for several hours, officials say. Paramedics also responded to the scene and appeared to transport at least one victim to an area medical center. It’s unclear if EMS pronounced the first victim deceased at the scene or took them to the hospital as well.
The victim has not been identified yet.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the deceased victims. Our thoughts are with the injured victims in hopes of a full recovery.
Traffic data already shows a significant rise in deadly crashes in 2021 thus far. In fact, auto accidents have claimed more than 100 lives from January to June, according to reports from the Utah Department of Transportation.
Even though there are many kinds of accidents that can injure those involved, one thing that many of them share is that those injuries will have a serious negative impact on their lives.
The physical damage and mental anguish often experienced by crash victims might leave them disabled and incapable of working. In some situations, victims may be out of work for just a few weeks. In other instances, victims may never be able to resume the job they once held.
Accident victims who are not able to go back to work and earn what they were prior to their accident do not deserve to be stripped of a financially secure future. And families should not have to bear the burden if they’re grieving a loved one lost in a preventable collision.
Oftentimes, when a person is hurt due to another driver’s negligence, they are able to collect financial remuneration from the liable party. As a result, victims and their families can reduce the economic hardships brought on by medical bills, lost wages, property damage, and an array of other losses.
When injuries result from auto crashes due to the recklessness of other motorists, victims need legal advice from a reputable car accident attorney in Salt Lake City.
