Salt Lake City, UT (November 1, 2022) – Police in Salt Lake responded to the scene of a serious pedestrian accident that happened in the Sugar House. Authorities reported that they were at the scene of the crash shortly before 12:00 noon on Monday, October 31. 

Reports show the accident happened in the 2100 block of 900 East. A woman, age 74, was struck by a vehicle for reasons still under police investigation. The driver cooperated with authorities, sources said. 

Police reported 900 East was closed between 2100 South and Elm Street for several hours on the afternoon of October 31 while they investigated the details of the accident and the woman received emergency medical aid. 

The name of the victim has not been reported at this time.
