Utah Car Accidents

Auto accidents cause injuries to millions of people per year in the United States. In Utah, over 60,000 people are hurt in car wrecks per year. Sustaining injuries in an auto accident can be extremely stressful. You may be suffering from serious pain due to your injuries while you deal with financial problems related to the crash itself, as well as emotional turmoil and economic losses.

When you or someone you love has been hurt in an auto accident, it is vital to figure out how the wreck happened. When an accident is caused by a negligent driver, those injured in the crash have the right to pursue compensation for their injuries and losses.

Talking with a personal injury lawyer is your best bet if you wish to seek compensation for your damages. Medical care, vehicle repairs, and more expenses that stem from your accident may qualify for financial compensation when you file a personal injury claim. You should not have to go broke paying for injuries that were caused by another person.

Additionally, negligent drivers need to be held accountable for their actions so they are less likely to hurt more people in the future. In the United States, negligent driving can land a person in jail or require them to pay steep fines. Gross negligence may have the negligent party pay the injured victim punitive damages, which are out-of-pocket fees awarded to the injured party.

If you have lost someone you love in a car crash caused by driver negligence, you should contact a wrongful death lawyer as soon as possible. You may be able to collect financial compensation for the costs related to your loved one’s crash.

The lawyers at Jardine Law Offices have ample experience helping those who have been hurt by driver negligence and their family members recover financially after their accidents. We work hard to make sure that our clients are not taken advantage of by the insurance companies, and that the people who caused their injuries are held responsible.
