Provo, UT (October 28, 2022) – A highway in Provo was closed in both directions near milepost 193 due to a two-car accident. Authorities reported that the incident occurred on the eastbound side of the highway. 

One person involved in the accident was treated at the scene for injuries and transported to the hospital in serious condition. Information from responders reveals that a medical helicopter responded to the scene. 

Traffic was severely delayed in the area while emergency crews worked to secure the scene. Police urged drivers commuting near the crash site to use different travel routes for the time being.
