Payson, UT (July 08, 2021) – A two-year-old was killed in Payson on Sunday, July 4th.
Sources indicated that at about 6:00 p.m., Payson police and first responders were dispatched to the scene of an auto-pedestrian accident in the area of 400 East and 400 South.
In spite of life-saving measures, the two-year-old boy died as a result of his injuries.
Police said the child was run over by a member of his family who was moving a car in the driveway so they could set off fireworks and failed to notice the child in front of the vehicle.
