North Ogden, UT (October 24, 2022) – Police apprehended three of the four suspects who fled and caused an accident after officers attempted to pull their vehicle over on Wednesday, October 19th.
At about 12:00 p.m., an officer responded to a report of suspicious activity in a parking lot in the 2000th block of 400 East. The caller indicated that the suspects seemed to be switching license plates between two vehicles.
When the officer attempted to execute a traffic stop on one of the involved vehicles, the driver fled at a high rate of speed. The pursuit was terminated when the suspect’s vehicle collided with another vehicle in traffic.
Officers ensured the occupants of the non-involved vehicle received medical attention. The nature of their injuries is unknown.
Police then continued on and were able to locate the suspect’s vehicle, now abandoned, and arrest three of its four occupants.
