Millcreek, UT (October 06, 2022) – A motorcyclist was left with critical injuries following a collision with a Jeep in Millcreek on Wednesday, October 5th.

The Unified Police Department responded to the scene when the rider, a man in his 20s, was struck in the area of 1100 East and 4500 South at about 7:35 a.m.

According to officials, the Jeep’s driver was making a turn from behind another vehicle and did not see the motorcyclist.

The striking driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in extremely critical condition.

Driver impairment is not thought to be a factor in the crash.

Our thoughts are with the injured victim and their family at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
