Logan, UT (October 28, 2022) – A woman lost her life after she was struck by a cement truck while attempting to cross Main Street in her motorized wheelchair. Police report that the wreck occurred at 200 North Main Street just before 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28. 

Officials with the Logan Police Department report that the cement truck was turning right at 200 North to head south on Main Street when it struck the woman. Her identity is currently being withheld pending the notification of her family. 

Sources say she suffered significant injuries that ultimately resulted in her death. Police asked local commuters to avoid the area while responders worked on the scene. Traffic was disrupted for several hours. 

What caused the incident to occur remains under local law enforcement investigation at this time.
