Trucking Accidents in Utah

Huntington, UT - Head-On Crash with Semi-Truck on UT-10When it comes to freight delivery in the United States, commercial trucks are king, and these massive vehicles may represent a significant threat to passengers in passenger automobiles. When a car accident occurs, occupants in smaller cars are more likely to have life-threatening injuries, as evidenced by national accident data on the subject. Trucking accidents are recorded in excess of 500,000 times every year, resulting in thousands of fatalities. A tractor-trailer or semi-truck collision results in the death or serious injury of someone around every 15 seconds.

In the case of a collision with a passenger car, large semi-trucks can cause severe and life-threatening injuries. Driver inexperience is a significant cause of fatal commercial vehicle accidents, which occurs when firms scramble to fill jobs owing to a scarcity of qualified drivers. This carelessness adds to catastrophic incidents involving 18-wheelers and other commercial vehicles. When a trucking accident occurs as a consequence of the negligence of another driver, affected victims should speak with a Huntington trucking injury attorney in order to recover lost compensation via the filing of a personal injury claim.
