Traffic Accidents in Utah

As motorists traverse Utah’s many highways and roadways, there are many basic actions they can take to keep themselves and those in their vehicle safe, such as always making sure they are properly restrained, obeying all applicable road signage and driving laws, and always paying attention to the task at hand.

Some of the most common causes of Utah traffic accidents include:

  • Road rage/Aggressive driving or offensive driving
  • Drugged or drunk driving /Driving while under the influence
  • Driving while fatigued/Driving while excessively tired
  • Not obeying the speed limit

In 2020, more than 53,000 automobile accidents took place in Salt Lake County alone. These collisions caused some form of injury to more than 16,000 victims. In that same year, about 270 people were killed in vehicle collisions throughout the United States.

Unfortunately, as reflected in crash statistics studied by the Utah Department of Public Safety, traffic accidents throughout the state are causing an increasingly higher number of victim injuries and deaths with every passing year.

Our victim injury lawyers can help you obtain the justice you want and the economic recovery you deserve. Based on the events leading up to your crash, you might be entitled to significant compensation for your medical costs, lost income, pain, suffering, and other losses.

After being injured in a car crash that was not your fault, contact a Utah personal injury attorney from Jardine Law Offices by calling (801) 350-3506 to schedule a complimentary review of your case and see how we can help you.
