Utah Auto Accidents

Brigham City, UT - Elderly Woman Drives Through Dollar Tree on W 1150 S, Causes InjuriesMillions of people are injured in car crashes in the United States every year. In Utah, more than 60,000 people sustain injuries yearly in car crashes. Being injured in an auto collision can be a difficult experience. You might be in a lot of pain due to your injuries, suffering from emotional turmoil due to the severity of the incident, and dealing with financial burdens as a result of the economic losses you may have suffered due to the wreck.

When you’ve been injured in a crash, it’s important to determine who or what caused it to happen. When a negligent driver causes your accident, you have the right to pursue financial compensation for your injuries and losses. Speaking with a personal injury lawyer in Utah is your best bet if you wish to seek compensation.

Your medical costs, vehicle repair costs, and more may be eligible to be compensated for by filing a personal injury claim. You should not have to pay for injuries that you did not cause. Also, negligent drivers should always be held accountable for their actions. In the United States, negligent driving is punishable by hefty fines and sometimes jail time. Gross negligence may be punishable by making the negligent party pay punitive damages, which are out-of-pocket costs awarded to the injured victim.

The lawyers at Jardine Law Offices have ample experience helping those who have been hurt by driver negligence recover financially after their accidents.
